If warehouse operators wonder how to operate stand-on full electric pallet truck, it is necessary to master standard operation steps to use the equipment safely and efficiently and take advantage of the stand-on design. Standard operations can improve safety, extend equipment service life and cut maintenance cost.

Before starting work, complete basic inspections. Check whether the battery has sufficient power, inspect the driving wheels for damage and jamming, and test the lifting buttons, brake and emergency stop button on the control handle. Check if the forks have deformation or cracks, confirm the rated load and never overload the truck. Clear obstacles and debris in the passage, lower the foot pedal and protective guardrail to get ready for operation.

When loading goods, lower the forks to the low position, align with the pallet openings and drive in slowly, insert the forks fully into the pallet. Press the lift button to raise the pallet 3 to 5 cm above the ground to keep stable cargo gravity. Place goods in the center of the pallet. Do not lift goods with a single fork to avoid pallet shifting and falling.

While travelling, the operator shall stand firmly on the driving platform and keep body inside the truck. Control forward and backward movement by the thumb knob on the handle, start and decelerate gently. Rapid acceleration and sudden braking are forbidden. Slow down in narrow aisles, corners and busy areas. Keep low speed under heavy load. If the cargo blocks front sight, drive backward slowly and watch out for surrounding pedestrians.

For unloading, park the truck steadily at the target position. After confirming safety, press the lowering button. When the pallet lands completely and forks separate from the pallet, pull out the forks slowly. Do not turn the truck when goods are lifted to prevent cargo tipping over.

After operation, park the truck in the designated area, lower forks fully and turn off the main power switch. Clean dust and debris on the truck and forks, check abnormal wear of components. Report faults in time and stop using faulty equipment.

Safe and standard operation requires skilled mastery and daily practice with attention to details. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions about electric stand-on pallet jack.
