First, let's talk about the forward moving mechanism of a straddle reach truck. The forward moving mechanism of a straddle reach truck mainly includes a gantry forward moving mechanism and a cargo fork forward moving mechanism. The forward moving mechanism of the portal frame is welded with a forward moving wheel frame at the lower part of the portal frame, which is equipped with two pairs of vertical guide rollers and two pairs of horizontal guide rollers, respectively arranged on both sides of the forward moving wheel frame; Four pairs of rollers roll in the forward leg track of the forward moving forklift. Forklift manufacturer tells everyone that one end of the forward moving hydraulic cylinder is hinged to the middle and lower parts of the gantry, and the other end is hinged to the vehicle body, which can be pushed or pulled forward or retracted.
The rear frame of the fork rack of a straddle reach truck can be lifted and lowered in the portal frame, and the fork is hung on the front frame. The front frame and the rear frame are connected by a scissor type linkage mechanism. When the hydraulic cylinder is pushed out, the connecting rod of the shear fork opens, and the front frame, together with the cargo fork, slides out towards the outside of the vehicle to complete the forward movement. On the contrary, when the hydraulic cylinder retracts, it completes the backward movement. Forklift manufacturer tells everyone that in order to allow the forks of straddle reach truck to reach two rows of goods for stacking and unstacking operations, a combination of forward moving gantry and forward moving fork frame can be used, or a forward moving fork frame with a two-stage scissor type linkage mechanism can be used to increase the forward movement distance of the forks.
Let's talk about the driving device of the straddle reach truck. The driving device of a straddle reach truck mainly consists of a driving motor and a driving wheel. The drive motor is arranged vertically, and the motor output terminal adjusts the vehicle speed to the set value through a pair of cylindrical helical gears and a pair of conical spiral bevel gears. The drive wheel is also a steering wheel and uses solid tires. The forklift manufacturer told everyone that there is also a set of small diameter follow-up support wheels that match the drive wheels, and these support wheels are also solid tires.

In order to ensure good follow-up performance, the axis of the follow-up wheel bracket bearing of a straddle reach truck usually maintains an eccentric distance of 50 mm to 150 mm from the follow-up wheel axis. When the drive wheel or follower wheel encounters uneven ground, the rigid bogie can swing around its rotating shaft to maintain both the drive wheel and follower wheel in contact with the ground. Due to the flat ground on which the straddle reach truck operates, the swing angle generally does not exceed 3 °. Forklift manufacturer tells you that there is also an elastic bogie. The follower wheel bracket is connected to the bogie through a spring, allowing the follower wheel to float up and down, with a floating stroke generally not exceeding 8mm.
