As we all know, electric forklift is a mechanical vehicle driven by electricity, so the generator is an extremely important part of electric forklift. The function of generator is to convert electric energy into mechanical power, which is mainly divided into DC generator and AC generator. The generator of electric forklift is composed of rotor, stator, rectifier, front and rear end covers and transmission heat dissipation device. In case of problems or system maintenance, we may need to disassemble the generator of the electric forklift. How to carry out this work? The electric forklift manufacturer will tell you about it.

When disassembling the generator of the electric forklift, first remove the three fastening screws on the rear cover oil seal. Some generators also have nuts at the end of the shaft, which should also be removed. Then, we need to remove the connecting screws between the two covers, knock the front cover and the rear cover of the generator with a hammer, and disassemble the generator into two parts: the first part is the stator, the rear cover, and the rectifier; The second part is the rotor, front cover and transmission cooling device. The electric forklift manufacturer reminds us not to use excessive force in this step, just tap it gently.
Then, we need to remove the connecting nut between the stator winding of the electric forklift and the rectifier (some generators are welded) to separate the stator and the rectifier. Next, remove the rectifier assembly from the rear cover. It should be noted that the insulating sleeve and gasket above must be placed in a safe place and cannot be lost when disassembling each terminal post. Finally, we need to further decompose other parts as appropriate. The electric forklift manufacturer told us that if the generator of electric forklift has never been disassembled, its bearing and shaft may fit tightly. In this case, we can use special tools to drive the shaft out.

The above is how to disassemble the generator of electric forklift. As you can see, if you want to disassemble and install the generator correctly, you need to have a deep understanding of the structure of the generator. Therefore, the electric forklift manufacturer suggested that if the driver is inexperienced, professional maintenance personnel can be found for help. You can also consult the electric forklift manufacturer, and we will have professional after-sales service personnel to answer for you.
