Do you wonder how much does an electric self-elevating stacker cost? Prices vary widely on the market because many factors influence the final quote. This machine draws great attention from long-haul transport and delivery fleets. Read these four key points to avoid overpaying when sourcing.
First, load capacity and lifting specifications. Truck-mounted stackers are designed for loading and unloading on delivery sites. Common rated loads include 1 ton, 1.5 tons and 2 tons. Higher lifting height and heavier rated load require upgraded frames and hydraulic cylinders, which push up costs. Basic light-duty models fit short-distance delivery of light goods. Choose reinforced heavy-duty versions for frequent heavy-load operations instead of chasing low prices blindly.

Second, battery configuration. Two mainstream battery options are lead-acid and lithium batteries. Lead-acid models have lower upfront cost, suited for infrequent use with stable charging access. Lithium battery versions support fast charging, feature light weight and steady battery performance, and work better in low-temperature conditions. They are widely chosen for two-shift and frequent outdoor tasks but come with a higher price tag.
Third, travelling and control type. Economical versions only feature electric lifting and rely on manual pushing, with lower prices. Full electric models are equipped with drive motors for self-propelled movement. One operator can handle it both on the truck and on the ground. The controller and drive assemblies add extra cost. Many buyers only compare appearance and ignore this point, only to find no self-drive function after delivery, hurting unloading efficiency.

Fourth, certification, after-sales service and customization. Quotes from source factories differ greatly from middlemen. Models with complete inspection documents and CE certification go through stricter quality checks and cost more than simple uncertified versions. Extra charges may apply for customized fork sizes, anti-slip and anti-collision attachments, bulk orders and long-term maintenance packages.
For deliveries with heavy and large cargo, portable truck-mounted stacker forklift saves space on trucks and allows one-person easy loading and unloading. You can book a factory trial any time if needed. Contact us for the latest price list.
