Fuel supply system is the high‑risk source of starting failures. Check the fuel circuit first. Insufficient fuel level or closed tank valve cuts off fuel supply directly. Clogged diesel filter due to overdue replacement blocks fuel delivery and leads to startup failure.

Aged cracked fuel hoses or loose pipe joints draw air into the circuit and form vapor lock, interrupting diesel flow. Electrical faults affect starter rotation and power output. If nothing happens after turning the key, electrical problems are highly suspected. Discharged battery or corroded loose terminals fail to supply enough power, resulting in no response or weak cranking.

If the starter spins normally yet the engine cannot fire, faulty injector atomization or high‑pressure pump defects should be considered.
